Teaching new drivers how to navigate New Jersey roadways and drive as safe as possible is something Corso Driving School takes very seriously. We are committed to making our students feel comfortable and as confident as possible behind the wheel. Lessons are step based and spread out over 3- 2 hour sessions-residential then busy roadways and intersections, then highway. All package lessons include the fundamentals of driving such as turning and speed control, parallel parking, 3 point turn and reverse driving, roadway markings/signs, highway merging and exiting.
Corso Driving School was started by Angela Navarra, a certified school teacher with a background in general and special education with many hours of behind the wheel instruction experience.
Why did I start a Driving School? “I took my love of teaching from a traditional classroom setting to the roadway setting. I still remember clearly when I was 16 and was very eager to start learning how to drive. It was an exciting time! I want all my students to experience the joy of driving while remaining as safe as possible.
Driving is serious business, today more than ever with all the distractions from new car technology and cell phone use in the car. Teens need to learn good habits from the beginning. I am happy to be a part of that and then turn them over to their parent or guardian to continue with their progress.
